Description
1,000 Eyes, based on Marilyn Chapman's poem One Thousand Eyes for One Eyed War, delved into the Israeli and Palestinian conflict in 1991. The piece featured dancers Elizabeth Miklavcic and Sarah Hudelson. Both portrayed the Palestinian people. Dancer Michael Larkin represented the Israelis. Ms. Chapman's poem and the dance expresses the turbulence and frustration that the region has been experiencing for ages. |
