Poster
Poster - This poster was one of the first Another Language posters to be designed with MacDraw, a vector based drawing application released along with the first Apple Macintosh systems in 1984. MacDraw was one of the first WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) digital art programs. The most inexpensive way to get two colors was to use colored paper.
Program
Program - The program for As Our Thoughts Escapes Us was design with a mix of digital and analog design techniques. Some of the images were created by tearing up copies of the poster and laying them on the glass of a copy machine.
Video
Video - Featured in this section are videos of each creative component in Another Language's debut concert As Our Thoughts Escapes Us. The majority of the concert was comprised of a compilation of Elizabeth Miklavcic's choreographic works from 1982-1986. This concert was a foundational springboard from which to move Another Language Performing Arts Company toward further growth and development.
