Description
This was the final rehearsal for A History of Timeless Connections before heading into the Another Language Holds A Conversation concert tech week. Kathryn Elliott, the choreographer, was finishing up her Bachelors Degree at the University of Utah Modern Dance Department, and was able to reserve a studio on the third floor of the brand new dance building on campus. Construction was completed in 1989, and the Ballet and Modern Dance Departments had just moved into the new facility. Fine-tuning of the choreography, clarification of the timing between the dancers Guild Pak and Elizabeth Miklavcic, and the actress Rachel Deirmenbjian still needed refinement, but the structure of the dance was in place at this point, close to being ready to present to the public.
