Corn Husks
Choreographed by Gunild Pak the essence of this work stems from the bonds between women and nature, earth and light, seasons and submission, sound and silence. The sounds of paper wrinkling and swaying becomes part of the score. Paper is torn and wrapped around bodies, thrown into the air and used like sand in the sand paintings as in native cultures. |
