A 3D digital poem exploring the social and personal elements of width, height, and depth through poetry, music, movement and 3D stereographic media. This new work investigates concepts such as humanity's width of knowledge and experience, heights of aspiration and depth of spirit.

This DVD contains the 2D performance with a 3D anaglyph version in the special features.

Telematic Cinema: Duel*Ality 2.0 (2012)
Duel*Ality 2.0 explores relationships and the many sides of the interactions that two characters Duel, played by Jimmy Miklavcic, and Ality, played by Elizabeth Miklavcic, encounter. This telematic work focuses on the relationship between two people and the way the encounter and function in this technological world. It also looks at the relationship of man and woman, of human to computer, of software to hardware, the relationship of live creativity and projected elements and the relationship between creative elements and how the audience perceives them.

The human body is a complex system of thought and action where the simplest impulse can generate the most amazing human motion. InterPlay: AnARTomy, directed by Elizabeth A. Miklavcic, is an exploration into our very personal receptacle as a connector through which humans operate, activate and live.

InterPlay: Carnivale (2008)
The Carnivale is a place of dreams, where the imagination runs wild, fortunes are told and the unique is normal. Living in the Carnivale is living in the imagination, a place of fantasy where the skills of the entertainers unlock the mysterious. InterPlay: Carnivale written and directed by Elizabeth A. Miklavcic with technical director Jimmy H. Miklavcic, is an examination of the mystery of the performing soul through an amalgamation of a variety of celebratory performance forms such as circus, Mardi Gras, carnival, amusement park, fair and arcade. This live, distributed, real-time, surrealist, cinematic performance unfolds as if walking into a memory of a by-gone era. The InterPlay opens as if frozen in time, the Carnivale awakens, the parade begins.

InterPlay: Nel Tempo di Sogno (2007)
Another Language, with local Utah and other performers throughout North America took the audience on a fantastic journey. Exploring the ever elusive passage of time, through a live, distributed, surreal cinematic event, artists and technologist from six cities will perform simultaneously and share these performances through video streaming technologies to create a work of unprecedented scale and innovation. Another Language Performing Arts Company, in partnership with the University of Utah's Center for High Performance Computing, performed InterPlay: Nel Tempo di Sogno (In the Dream Time) March 30 - April 1, 2007.

InterPlay: Dancing on the Banks of Packet Creek (2006)
InterPlay: Dancing on the Banks of Packet Creek, performed March 31 - April 2, 2006, was an exploration into the tenuous devotion that we have towards the inundating wave of digital information and non-experiential knowledge. Packet Creek depicts the Internet with its flow of disassembled pieces of data that course throughout the world like schools of spawning salmon. Dancing on the Banks is our ritualistic gyrations that we express as we create, disseminate, search, and acquire this electronic epistemological knowledge.

InterPlay: Loose Minds in a Box (2005)
Another Language Performing Arts Company performed InterPlay: Loose Minds in a Box, an unprecedented real-time national collaboration, at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the world renown ACM SIGGRPAH 2005 computer graphics conference on August 3 & 4, 2005. Another Language was invited to be a part of the Access Grid's introduction into the Emerging Technologies program at SIGGRAPH as a result of its pioneering performances.

InterPlay: Hallucinations (2004)
InterPlay: Hallucinations featured local performances by actors Tony Larimer, Aaron Henry, and Beth Miklavcic in a theatre/video work titled The Surface of Things. The Surface of Things incorporated three video streams and was combined with two video streams from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks featuring percussionist Scott Deal and animator Miho Aoki, and two video streams from the University of Maryland, College Park featuring dancer Brian Buck and video artist Nadja Masura. The seven video streams were assembled simultaneously and mixed live by Jimmy Miklavcic. The theme of this performance centers around the idea of a societal collective brain washing. Each artist has created works that are influenced by this theme.

InterPlay: Intransitive Senses (2003)


InterPlay: Intransitive Senses was a multimedia, multi-artist performance transmitted over Internet 2, experienced both live and on the Internet. It was Another Language's first performance of this type. InterPlay: Intransitive Senses, premiered on April 19, 2003 at University of Utah Intermountain Network & Scientific Computation Center Auditorium. This DVD highlights the second performance held October 10, 2003 for the Utah Symposium in Science and Literature. It features performances by Alex Caldiero, Kate Macleod, Sam Liston, Beth Miklavcic, Hanelle Miklavcic and was directed by Jimmy Miklavcic.
