Avatar (1980) Artist: Jimmy Miklavcic

An avatar is a descent of a deity to earth, or a descent of a supreme being. Jesus was one of the first such avatars before the term was transformed and adapted for the virtual world. In this painting, Avatar, Jimmy depicts Jesus in his human form, outfitted in a t-shirt and a tie. Mixed media, cloth, t-shirt and trophy.
