Two Big Horn Babies Peering Over The Edge (2008) Elizabeth Miklavcic

Elizabeth's photograph was taken in mountainous terrain of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. These big horn babies at the top of the mountain peer over the edge, watching the people below just as the excited wildlife spotters watched them. Difficult to spot, there was a group of younger big horn sheep climbing near the top of the ridge. She used a 70-300mm lens to capture this image.
