Another Year (2017) Jimmy Miklavcic

Another Year was created on December 31, 2017 in anticipation of yet another year. The painting came about as Jimmy was thinking of all the people on the planet celebrating the transformation of one year into the next, simply represented by the end of one day and the beginning of another. This concept gets played out twenty-four times across the planet. Imagine, it takes the equivalent of an entire day for the people of earth to celebrate the time from 11:59:59 to 12:00:00.
