This performance of What? was a departure from the original costuming and makeup, because it was included in the structure of a newly created thirty-six minute performance art work, Ted Speaks His Mind, There was no time for the dancers to don the elaborate make-up of bald heads for this event. The dresses that Geneva Ann Moss and Elizabeth Miklavcic wore were part of the complete statement of Ted.

ace in various downtown locations at noon throughout the summer. This performance was held at Dinwoody Park (which no longer exists) on 100 South between State Street and Main in downtown Salt Lake City. In the middle of August it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit and Elizabeth was three months pregnant.

This is a good example of how costuming and performance environment influences the perception and effect of a work of art. The choreography is exactly the same, but the impact of this dance is dramatically different from the Experimental Floss debut performance and the following performance in September for the Another Language Performing Arts Company As Our Thoughts Escape Us.
