Description
Gotta Move On is a solo choreographed and performed by Lori Nichol, a Company Member for the 1990-1991 season. Lori first performed as a guest artist with Another Language in Where Paths Seldom Cross a site-specific project directed by Jimmy Miklavcic in 1989. Her dance is choreographed using a chair as a representative of something (or someone) she is dependent upon. She keeps trying to move away from the thing she is attached to, but continually returns for security. Frustratingly, she ends the dance back where she began, unable to let go, dragging the chair with her instead of leaving it behind. |
