XYZ | Cover Design: Elizabeth Miklavcic |
Description: XYZ - A Digital Poem, written by Elizabeth Miklavcic, explores the social and personal elements of width, height and depth through poetry, music, movement and stereographic media. This original work investigates concepts such as humanity's width of knowledge and experience, heights of aspiration and its depth of spirit. XYZ is composed of five entities, Gaia (Elizabeth Miklavcic), Colored-by-Numbers (Hanelle Miklavcic), Ghost (Alexis Levitt), Marooned (Jimmy Miklavcic) and Rose (Elizabeth Miklavcic). Co-created by Elizabeth and Jimmy Miklavcic, this project debuted at the University of Utah Center for High Performance Computing VisLab Black Box Theater on February 22, 2013 and ran through March 3, 2013. The original performance was screened as a 3D active stereoscopic work. Although, the primary performance plays as a 2D movie in this DVD, an anaglyph 3D version is available in the special features. This DVD is available at the Another Language web store. |
