History - Society in a Nutshell (1994)

	Photographic Memory Originally choreographed by Elizabeth A. Miklavcic and Jimmy H. Miklavcic in 1988, Photographic Memory was re-staged for Another Language Performing Arts Company Society In A Nutshell concert.
	Meadowlark (Lucia) Guest choreographer Rosalind Newmark explored in movement and text the behavior of the Meadowlark. Dancers are Jeannine Chan, Spencer John Powell, and Travis Rasmussen.
	That Woman Another Language artist-in-residence and guest choreographer Hilary Carrier choreographed this trio on Elizabeth, Jimmy and Hanelle Miklavcic. This dance marked Hanelle Miklavcic's first performance with Another Language.
	Stuck In The Middle With You Another Language artist-in-residence and guest choreographer Hilary Carrier choreographed this trio on Jeannine Chan, Spencer John Powell and Travis Rasmussen. The three month residency was a pilot program that provided the artist with space and dancers to work with for the creation of new works.
	No Place Formaldehyde A solo created and performed by Jimmy H. Miklavcic, this work was an exploration of identity as seen through video and the ever present television set.
	A Love Hate Relationship This duet choreographed by Elizabeth A. Miklavcic examined the emotional shifts between love and hate in a close relationship.
	Interlude Jimmy Miklavcic announces to the audience that Society In A Nutshell is the last Another Language Performance in the Artspace studio.
	Three Ballads For Mother Concert Finale - Choreographed by Spencer John Powell, this dance was a touching tribute for Spencer's mother, who had passed away from cancer in 1993.
