Description:
November marked the completion of the InterPlay: Dancing on the Banks of Packet Creek 2006 project DVD. Performed March 31 - April 2, 2006 at the University of Utah, Intermountain Networking and Scientific Computation Center. This project was an exploration into the tenuous devotion people have towards the inundating wave of digital information and non-experiential knowledge. Packet Creek, depicted the Internet with its flow of disassembled pieces of data that course throughout the world like schools of spawning salmon. Dancing on the Banks represented the ritualistic gyrations expressed as humans create, disseminate, search, and acquire this electronic epistemological knowledge.
